Default transmission fluid flush?

we have a 2000 mustang V6 that has 103,000 on her, we dont know if the transmission has been flushed before or not, we have heard all bad things from everyone we have taked to about doing this with this many miles! what do you guys think should we do it or would we be better off not doing? for all we know its the original fluid in it now!

I would flush it immediately. IT is utter bullshit that flushing/changing filter & fluid will ruin an older transmission that was neglected.

a transmission flush is nothing but a good thing for any car regardless of mileage.

whoa whoa whoa lol.

that number is assuming you do a full transmission flush. if you just drain the pan, you're only going to be draining about 4 and a half qaurts.
