96 v6 auto to manual swap.. Worth it??

yo i have a 96 v6 mustang that its auto sadly and well i was thinking of making it manual so i can start making it faster... is it even worth the trouble?? is it gonna cost me alot?? i was thinking of buying the parts one by one and then take it to a shop and get it done. But my main question should i even waste my time and money in such project and what do i need?? thx guys for the help i really need it

Most swaps cost around $1000.00 without labor. Worth it? That is your call.
