ok so i have an 02 v6 and a magnaflow dual catback i took off the tips because the drivers side kept coming loose and i didnt want one so i gtook em both on bout a month or so ago..now when im in park neutral or drive i get a horrible vibration sometimes and when i mean horrible i mean real loud and when im just chillin there its a small vibration whats wrong? since i took tips off it ends shortly after my rear tires. forgot to add that i havent had this problem till bout a week ago

happens sometimes to me.. its probably something (either a pipe or ur mufflers) touching part of the body somewhere ud have to take a look under the car real good to tell where it might be coming from

+1 I had a minor fender bender in the snow that pushed in my exhaust... so now my tip sometimes vibrates off my rear bumper. But I put up with the occasional annoyance since I love the sound of the resonator tip!

So in your case, look under the car to see if it's rubbing somewhere. Maybe you can move the exhaust mount (requires drilling) or rebend the exhaust so that it clears (probably need a shop to do). Or just ignore it.

i had the same problem and it was my muffler hitting up against the floor pan on the passanger side.. i just had to loosen the clamps and twist the muffler and the pipe to get the alignment so the muffler is far enough away from the floor pan, and i havent had the problem since..
