$200 will get you 1 muffler welded on, but not 2. It usually runs me between $500 and $700 to get true duals put on.
Do you want mufflers. My car now has nothing after the cats, and it sounds meaner than any mufflers that I ever had. No mufflers where I live is illegal, but it sounds bad azz.

While I wouldn't suggest going illegal ( jkmiller)... he's gotta point: the only "exhuast" you can do for under $200 is adding a muffler - and that's a ricer exhaust (i.e. - fart can )!! J/k, but you won't get much performance out of a muffler swap - you will only get louder. I think somebody on here is running a glasspack muffler (on a stock system) that doesn't sound too bad... where ya at?

Dual exhaust will run you between $500-700, like he said, depending on the option you choose. But for economy purposes, look for just a catback system to get you dual exits... but they still might be $400+.

$200 will get you a single muffler installed from a shop.
For $350-400 you usually can get a shop to fabricate a true dual set up.
The only way I can see you getting duals for $200 is to buy the mufflers and piping then doing all of the work yourself. You might be able to con a friend to help you too. I found paying them in free drinks and junk food works pretty good.
