So I was looking for LTs and one are chrome plated others ceramic coated, which ones are better and why.

And when i will change headers do i need to change gasket(seal) between motor and headers.

Thank you in advance
Ceramic coated are better - the ceramic is a heat barrier and will make your finish last longer. Chrome will discolor over time. And you probably should change the gasket...

I thought you weren't doing headers? If you do LTs, then you will need a totally different midpipe, or just go to straight pipes for each side (true duals).

Yes at first I didn`t want it to change but I have a big hole in right headers and what else can I do.
So I will go whit exhaust like ewells wrote. But that will take me time to collect money. But then I will be loudest in the villige.

MAC LTs: $260
BBK Shorty H: $350
Catback: $320
02 extenders: $40
Install: $350 (cheap considering the 8 hours labor)

P.S. Have anybody some other idea???

That's funny

My idea: save money and do the install yourself.

you may find that you'll have a semi long wait to get MAC longtubes.. if you dont want to wait or if it takes too long look for longtube headers from Pacesetter they are the only other company ive seen that makes longtubes for v6's and supposedly they fit better.. just a suggestion if you find that you're having trouble finding them

Hey I own a 1995 V6 and you mentioned that you can use an H pipe. I've been looking to upgrade my exhuast system but heard that the H pipe would reduce torque because of lack of backpressure.. is this true or should I still go with getting the duel dual instead of the catback Y pipe duals?

the only time ull face the problem of a loss of back pressure would be if you removed cats and mufflers and ran straight pipes.. it is definitely more recommended to get the h-pipe than to use the ypipe catback.. as long as you keep your cats u wont have any problems with backpressure or anything
