I'm having trouble just finding the hood. Maybe I could find one at a junkyard, but how much would that cost? I guess I could always by a cowl hood or a cobra r hood like shinerstang, but I wouldn't want to do that unless I'm putting down times like shiner. I've always liked the hood scoop though, but having a tough time finding the hood. I'm a little worried about that cost too. I'd almost rather just find a way to make it fit under what i have now if it's going to cost me a lot.
Yep, he's in the area. 2 hours 13 minutes away according to mapquest. I'll have to check out a junk yard to see if I can't find something cheap. Or who knows, Tom may be able to find something or come up with some idea.
I know where there is a Cobra hood. I haven't looked at it personally. But for $100.00, there must be something wrong with it. We can fab just about anything for it. We can make it fit under your stock hood with a remote IAC. We're going to be at the NMRA's next weekend, stop by and introduce yourself. Most likely my car will have SHINER on the plate.
