Default 2004 V6 Mods Value Added?

Curious as to whether these mods real pay over stock performance on my 2004 V6 3.8L.

1. CAI with a tune.

2. True Dual Exhaust

3. Throttle Body; Spacer?

4. 3.73 Gears with T-Lok

5. Headers

Just want to know if you guys think there is enough performance gain here to make the mods worth while. Thx.

My friend did all that, minus the spacer and it's not worth it. Also had UDP's put on and he liked the performance.

I would leave out the headers and throttle body and spacer.

An intake is definitely worth the investment.

The tune is ok but costs a lot for the few hp you get.

The exhaust is worth it if you are going mostly for sound but you wont feel too much of a gain from that.

Gears are pretty sweet but are expensive and I expected a little more from the 4.10s

numbers 1,2, & 4 are worthwhile mods.

Headers are only worth it if you are going to with long tubes and a shorty midpipe. A throttle body is not worth it unless you are planning on running a super/turbocharger.
Dual exhaust is a must just for the sound.

when i put dual exhaust on my car it really woke up...

I used to lose to my friends celica when my pipes were stock. I threw on a dual exhaust and an intake now i win...

I agree with everone else. This is what will actually help your performance:

1. CAI with a tune.

2. True Dual Exhaust

3. 3.73 Gears with T-Lok(I am going with 4.10's, but it is up to you)

I would leave out the spacer and intake. get an exhaust system, throttle body will help with the tune, and gears(4.10's for an auto, and 3.73's for 5 spd). id save the tune for last since with gears you'l need to get your speedo re-cal'd and tunes are not cheap. do some research be4 you tune too, as the guy said be4 its exspensive for little hp, but I personly got more hp and tourque than any of the other mods from my tune. or just find one with all that done and save a lot of cash

u can actually calibrate the speedo yourself.. its pretty simple really no need to buy a whole new tune so if i were you id get a cai + dual exhaust(any order), then a tuner, and then gears.. no spacer and no throttle body.. and then youre all set
