Default 3.8 mis fire need some ideas

well my 94 stallion started misfiring this morning when i started it but at 3500 or higher it smoothes out anyideas im hoping that the car just needs a tune up but it also has 230000 on it never had any running problems before minus 2 ccrms which i have wondered why it would have went through them but it did no check enginelights or anything all cylinders have good compression and all plugs are firing i havent cleaned the plugs yet but was thinking of better plugs any ideas would be greatly appreciated with out this site the car wouldnt be here now thanks everyone

Definitely give it a tune up with the plugs and wires. When was the last time the plugs were replaced?

well i pulled the plugs 5 were fine 6th was filthy black smelled like fuel possible oil on plug they are double platinums should i change to diff type of plug i did clean them as well as i could regap and put them back in did help however still missing sounds like a dead cylinder when running i noticed my intake gasket is leaking oil on that side of the motor could that cause it to do this? maybe possible oil leak into that port i will run compression test again when i get back to shop or cold it ppossiblybe the ccrm that i replaced about a month ago

ok well i got spark all the way to the cylinder it is guzzling gas bout 2 gallons in ten miles or so no white smoke out of exhaust sounds hollow on #6 cylinder plugs have been cleaned autolite double platinums my dad seems to think either bent pushrod cracked intake or head gasket however smells strongly of fuel when running kind smells like a refinery still picks the cylinder up when driving in high rpms can feel the power return weird i know hard to explain no smoke smells horrid runs like crap did miss anything sometimes you get frustrated ya know i appreciate the help guys this place is just as good as Alldata

yeah so definitely try what stalkerstang suggested in your thread on the v6 talk section.. u seem to have a busted injector driver in ur pcm
