Default Shorty Headers vs Long Tube Headers
I thought i knew the difference but after a very confusing conversation with my mechanic I realize I am clueless...

HELP!!!!

Well what exactly do you need help with?

Long Tube headers are longer in length and allow the engine to "breath" a little more which in turns give you some more HP. Shorty headers are realitively the same size as the stock manifolds but flow better. Shorty headers actually are better for most Turbo applications.

umm your going to need a turbo manifold...so im not sure why you are buying headers right now anyways...

turbo's not coming for a few months... so headers are kind of my boredom experiment

why waste your money on headers if your going to be swapping out the new turbo manifold in a couple months anyways..

you really wont gain that much hp with shorties, and if you wanna spend 300+ on longtubes plus money for a new h/x pipe, then okay thats your choice...

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you need to take a step back and read-up on how things work.....

I'm not sure why hotshot posted that. In some applications flipping shorties work, but it doesn't save anything because the fabbing up of the hot side is more difficult, and the shorty flange is more difficult to make work right.....
