Question Carburetor on a 3.8L V6 ?

I am thinking about carbureting my 1999 mustang V6, don't bother asking why because my answer is why not!

I have never been a fan of EFI and leaving all my cars behaviors to the hands of a CPU. I want GAS, AIR, DRIVER. Get outta my car robot brains!

Has anybody else done this? Thought about doing this?

Anything can be done!!

First, I would suggest giving GSS Motorsports a call 270-405-1139. That company is represented by two 10 sec. V6 mustangs on here. (shinerstang and shine1stang)

or you can contact this company I found:

Why not? Because it sucks that's why...have you ever driven a carbuereted car? You'll have more problems than the fuel injection will ever give you, not to mention trying to get the computer/ignition to work with it will be akin to the Bride of Frankenstein making love. You'll lose drivability, mileage and resale...other than that go for it.

Thanks Stang93mustang for the links!

2manystangs.... good advice. I have driven many Carbureted cars, and yes, although problematic... much easier for me to work on. It is a 99 mustang v6 that originally went swimming... so resale is not an issue . As for drivability, gas mileage etc, not a huge concern. Work is maybe 10 min away, there are other cars in the garage for long hauls.... just want something different and I think this will help my stang stand out a little in a crowd.
