Default 1995 mustang issue

I have a 1995 mustang 3.8L V6. It wouldn't start the other day so I started checking fuses. It would crank, but not start. I pulled the fuel pump fuse to check it, it was good so I put it back in. Once I pulled and reinserted the fuse the car started. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it don't. When it won't start I have to pull the fuel pump fuse and just put it right back in to get it to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

it sounds like a bad wire or loose conection somewhere in the fuel pump circut.

the resetting of the fuel pump may indicate a faulty or old pump... it might just need to be replaced altogether... something similar happened to me with my 98 3.8L when I first got it... when it does start, does it crank for a bit and then start or start right away?

does the fuel pump and/or fuel pressure regulator hold pressure or drop down?

once I reset via the fuse it starts right up. I don't have any pressure equipment, so I haven't checked anything like that. Could it be in the CCRM? I bought what O'Reily's called a fuel pump relay but could not find it on the car to replace it. This seemed like the least expensive and simplest place to start. Can someone tell me the location of the fuel pump relay? I would like to put the new one on just to be sure.
