Default Need advice for investment

In your Personel Opinions what do you think is the best way to go with about 4k give or take...A vmp 11psi procharger kit, and headers.

Or a complete port polish, 4.2 stroker, new cam, roller rockers,UD pulleys, and maybe an intake spacer.

I've decided i only want to go all out N/A or boosted not both, I dont really want to invest the money on both at this time.

My pony has about 73k on it.. new exhaust..P&P lower intake..CAI..vmp tuner.

My self i would go with the motor over haul. with the miles that you have now your right on the edge of where people say that you shouldn't put a supercharger or turbo on. I plan on rebuilding my motor when i get the money and im going to go with all forged internals and rebuild my top end. With the rebuild that im going to do im looking to gain roughly about 75-100hp. Thats 4.2L strocker, new heads, cam, valves, ported intake, and a couple other things.

I agree... I'd go with the ported/built engine for several reasons... more raw power, meaner sound... and lets face it... your wallet and current plans might not include both a built engine and forced induction... but eventually, somewhere down the road, you might get that itch agian! Besides, I wouldn't advise procharging your engine without it being reinforced especially if it has high mileagle... if you never go that route, you'll still have a badass car with a good bit of power

Since you've already done the intake and even P&P'd the lower, I'd recommend keep going with the engine build. You'd basically just be P&Ping the upper intake and then diving into the engine... And the supercharger would take the place of the CAI you already spent $$ on. The high mileage and new exhaust are additional reasons.

Supercharging is nice, also (talked to a few guys at car shows who have them) - major upgrade, but still just a bolt-on; and since you won't always be in boost (with the centrifugal styled Procharger), your mpg shouldn't suffer too much either.

The choice is yours. But if you are set on building it N/A, I would recommend talking to the guys at SSM (www.supersixmotorsports.com) -- they know a lot about our sixxers.

Niether, you used the word investment. lol none of the stuff we do to our car really pays back so it's not technically an "Investment" but as said above I'd do the engine overhaul. It'll give the car a longer life and while it may not have the same power as boosting it, it is a more unique plan. On the other side though, doing extensive engine work you'll have to deal with the noise. A boost is mostly queit outside of acceleration or a light whistle, where as the stroker and cam is gonna make it LOUD!
