Fuel filter swasp Hey all I'm gona change fuel filter on my girls 94
stang . From what i understand the best way is to unplug pump in trunk on drivers side, run car till it stalls.
Then remove with tool and replace. Is this correct? Do air bubbles still need to be bled out?

this is very easy and only takes less than 10 mins to do...
all you need is a screwdriver(flat head)
all you got to do is go underneath ur car in the back were the fuel tank is at. Go between the fuel tank and the rearend and you will see the fuel filter mounted.
looks like this...

and there are two white clips that you need to take off on both sides...your new fuel filter should come with them. And make sure you put the new filter in the right way
hope this helps

Why go through the hassle of removing plugs and causing fault codes?
Just do it before you drive the car for the day, after it sits overnight, no fuel pressure.

i did not think of that....so u are saying there will be no pressure if the car sits over night and no fuel will bleed from the lines?

Not saying no fuel won't come out, but it won't spray all over as it bleeds off pressure.
Just wear some safety glasses and keep your mouth closed....
