Default 2002 Mustang 3.8L Running Lean.

Hey guys, my 2002 seems to been running a bit lean since I got her a few months ago. The guy before didn't seem to do things right on the car. first thing i had to re do were the plugs after he did also. Well I check them once in a while and there still white heads on the plug. I run 94 octane gas. There was a cold air installed. had to plug a hole that they just plug electrial tape over. I did check the fuel filter and it looks pretty new just havent had the time to change it again doesnt look like its needed to be replaced. cold air filter is clean. She runs amazing just trying to figure this out before she goes away for the winter in a few weeks.

What plugs are you running in it? Did it come with a tuner? Check for vacuum leaks.....

Whenever I get a new vehicle (new to me) I always replace all the tune-up items with stuff that I know works... Ford parts.

I would replace that fuel filter, plugs, check the air filter, do an oil change with a Ford filter. Wires if you have to.

Not saying those are what is causing your issue, but at least you know that they aren't when you replace them.
