Any Suggestions? 2003 v6 mustang ignition, lost key

ok, last night i lost the key to my 2003 v6 mustang, as everyone probably knows it costs upwards of 150 to get a new key, but i have to be 3 hours away by tomorow to get to class as i am a college student, i do have a spare key to my car but without the chip, is there anyway that i can get it going without having to take it to a shop by tomorow? i dont care if that means that i have to hotwire the thing i just needa know what my options are

it doesn't cost nearly that much, i thought i remembered hearing somewhere that ford programs ignition keys for free but don't quote me on that. you'll have to go to either find your keys or take your vin and a few other things up to ford and have your key programmed.

you saved yourself a bundle of money by getting yourself a spare key...

take the spare key to a ford dealership and have them cut & program a PATS key for it. you're gonna have to have the car towed into the dealership though.

To John do you know what id need besides the Vin?

And to 232 my problem with that is I live in a small town and the closest dealership is about an hour away, but I do have the remote for keyless entry trunk and alarm all that good stuff, do u know if I could use that to skirt around paying the towing fee?

And yea I actually lost em last night at the fair, didn't realize till I got home cuz I rode with some friends, so far spent about 5 hours walking around looking
