I'd rather be slightly pessimistic and end up presently surprised than be overly optimistic and end up disappointed, lol. No, I am usually optimistic, but you do have to be realistic sometimes.

Just installed the AM CAI yesterday on my 02 V6, install went smoothly but had one question... In the short pipe (attached to the throttle body) there is an extra hole thaat appears to serve no purpose, and it is not mentioned in the instructions. I plugged it as left alone it would draw unfiltered air into the throttle body. Does anyone know what this extra hole is for? Perhaps another application? Thanks.

Probably for the air temperature sensor. Your car may not have a separate one, so just plug it.
