Exclamation 2004 3.9l clutch or Transmission issue?

The other night on the nj turpike I hit a heavy duty strap and did some damage. Im not sure what went wrong. I believe the clutch blow out, sounded and felt like it. The car starts but doesnt drive. When its in neutral and I let go of the clutch, its as if its in gear and I didnt give enough gas, and shuts off or when i first turn it on and I slowly let go of the clutch I start hearing scraping noise. But when I try to give it gas it feels like the cars having a hard time moving and slowly budging forward. When I hit the damn strap, immediatly pressed the clutch, the car hopped alittle, something blew, smoke, and stalled seconds after while still in fifth gear. Insurance said they cover but as collision(high deduct), im fight for comp(very very low deduct). Just wanted to get some tips of what the problem might be? Transmission? Clutch? Both? I got a o 10 dodge journey as a rental with 150miles (wifes Happy), but I want my car its been sitting for the past week. No leaks or anything wierd when i stick my head under the car? Anyone got some hints of what i looking at?

Have you gotten underneath the car and checked on your clutch cable going to the tranny? Might have to take the access cover off and see what it looks like there too. sorry to hear.
