Default Bad 60 ft. times

I went to the track and ran 3 times. My 60 ft. times were 2.5 every time. I've read that normally they should be around 2.1. What could be the problem?

I don't think it's lack of traction. And lack of power meaning what? 2.1 is where I should be with the mods I have now.

4 tenths of second requires power to pull those kinds of 60' #'s

you say the car is running 2,5's consistantly....

which leans towards 1 of 3 things

1. no traction......

2. lack of power.....

3. lack of driving skills.......

i'm sure you don't care for my response but those are the cold hard facts.....

How are you launching the car? On an auto, you should be holding the car back as much as you can with whatever means you have while holding your foot on the gas. Tom Jr holds his right foot on the gas, left foot on the brake, and holds up the ebrake at the same time to keep the wheels from spinning and the car from pushing forward. When the light turns green, he lets off the brakes and punches it. That is the only way to hold your car back without a transbrake.....
