Spark Questions

Well, I want to get my stang in a condition that I'll feel comfortable putting her into a few car shows next summer. I figure some color under the engine wouldn't hurt, so I'm wanting to change out the spark plug wires. What brand of wires would give me the best spark? I also figure that while I'm at it, I might as well change the spark plugs. What brand would you recommend for those as well? Thanks in advance.

Autolite Copper 105's, Ford Racing wires, or Livewires.......

Any reason ford racing doesn't have wires for the v6 in red? Will some of the other options work? I am posting the site so you don't have to look it up.

So I'm guessing that the thicker the wire, the better, as I noticed on AM that the MSD's are more expensive at 8.5 mm and others are at 8, and shiner suggested 9. Is this correct?

Do not use those FRPP wires. They are generics and will not perform properly. Get the MSD's or the Livewires......

I've heard some bad things about livewires, so I think I'll go MSD then and the autolites unless someone can come up with something that might be better.

Say, I've found the ohms rating on the MSD's. Does anyone know where I could find the ratings on other wires?
