Question 1997 Startup Power?

Hey thanks to everyone answering all my questions, I have another one now lol.

When I first drive my car in the morning it feels like it has maybe 30-40 more hp. Is that because it runs rich until it's warmed up? Is there any kind of Tuner out there that can make it run that way all the time, or just when I want it to? Can something like one of those Diablo Tuners do that?

If it's colder outside, the cooler denser air is what makes if feel like it has more pep. Trust me, you don't want your car to stay in that warm up mode...bad mpg and running rich doesn't equal HP.

I agree with 2005GT. But if you're wanting to add some power without spending a whole lot of money you can add a tuner kit and a cold air induction system. This will give you some extra horsepower and not increase a lot of wear on your engine.
