Hey, I have a V6 2002 mustang. The car wouldn't come out of park one day a year and a half ago and they replaced what they called the "brake switch". It has been happening again on and off lately. When it wont come out of park and i press on the brakes the lights dont come on. When i keep pressing the brake and trying eventually it comes out of park and the lights start working again. Anyonehave any ideas?

I had a friend say it was the brake light switch but i was curious if anyone had some pictures or knew of a write up on how to change one. A mechanic quote me $250 which is rediculous. Any help would be appreciated!

Its under the brake pedel, should be easy to replace, just look up under there with a flashlight.
