Which is preferred in winter. Obviously the v6 will give off less horsepower and torque. But the V8 appears to come with a traction control system. Does the traction control system out-way the benefits of the extra horsepower and torque? What about putting a rear differential in the v6. would that accomplish the same purpose as the TCS?

tcs saved my life i apsolutley love it.. but yes a locker will do the same in a 6 but y not get an 8 thier way bedder and funner in my opinion

some v6s come with tcs my old one did anyway but i would always go with a gt with tcs over any v6

I'm gonna try not to drive it more than I need to.

All mustangs suck in the snow period. Less power plus traction may suck a little less.

my 99 v6 has TCS and i think the TCS makes it worse...

btw it really doesnt make much difference they SUCK in the snow v6 or gt. heck my v6 sucks in the rain to

TCS will help you from fishtailing when you give it too much gas on wet or snowy/icy ground, it can help you not skid into a car in front of you (though that's really the ABS)

but if your STUCK in snow, mud, or just very wet slippery grass/ground you actually have to turn OFF the TCS to become unstuck.

maybe thats why my car keeps skidding on wet pavement - I dont think it has ABS or a TCS.
