i have a 03 v6. every now and then the engine will cut out while i am coasting in nuetral. it does just fine when i am stopping from a low speed like in traffic, however when i am coasting down a large hill or slowing down to exit the freeway my check engine light and ses light come on and i usually have to start it while im moving. i have no idea what could cause this so i need a place where i can start to look.

I remember my car did that, it kept on killing itself, but the gauges and lights were still working. Turned out my CAI popped out from the MAS, too much air was rushing into the car and killing the engine.

My service engine soon light is on, which was pinpointed to the aftermarket CAI in my car, I'm about to get a SCT Tuner so I can get rid of that bugger and take advantage of the CAI.

I'm sure the brilliant minds who float around in this tech forum will give you a better idea where to look though!
