So recently i bought a ford mustang (99) v6 3.8 and i noticed that the Rear view mirror light plug was unplugged when i plugged it in i found out that most of the time when i close the door either left or right it won't go out and i was wondering where the things that control that were or if anyone knows what the problem may be.

the thing that u pull out to put the lights on just twist it to the right a little bit if u twist it all the way counter clock wise it clicks and puts those lights on

i think it was missunderstood the mirror thats to the right of the passenger seet i see no way to take out the lights i want them to be lit when i open the door and turn off when i close it its just they don't go out and was wondering where the sensor or thing that controls them going on and off was at.
