so i looked at it and went. wow. is this fake?
so my question is how much hp would u actually gain from this and how much would it cost for the install and any other parts and the gauges adn stuff. not including hte price of the trubo. also what about this one.
thats sick. and no way is it right. id definitely have to read some HONEST reviews about it. seems sweet though.

i wouldnt bother looking at it because turbos are to inefficient and bad for ur motor, if i were you i would go for a supercharger. kenne bells and whipples are really good if u want a good twin screw, but twin screws are less efficient than a centrifugal supercharger like a vortech, paxton, or procharger. the centrifugal superchargers become more efficient as the motor works harder so you get hp and torque all the way through instead of waiting on turbo lag or ending your power gain at low rpm's like the twin screws. ive seen centrifugal superchargers on sale for about $3500 brand new vortech kit, also for the vortechs u can get the after cooler which adds 70 rwhp. if u wanna c how turbos and superchargers work inside and out go to howstuffworks.com

you have it backwards.
turbo's are more efficient than s/c's, and they are easier on engine internals than s/c's. also, the engine has to work harder to spin that s/c.
compare the number of OEM s/c cars to OEM turbo cars.
to the OP:
just remember, you get what you pay for.
hhmmm im going to ask my mechanic about all this, because i know the off brand CAI like the a.m. one works just as well as the big name brands, but as far as turbos that could be different

your out of your da** mind if you think a turbo is inefficent for your car, reason why almost every automaker is finding ways to better fuel economy and ahem turbos are what there using for it.
mercedes
volkswagen

When it comes to power adders, I believe you get what you pay for applies.
I wouldn't trust a $900 TT kit on my car. I'd rather, spend a little more money and not have my engine morph into a grenade.

My bad. But again, where is the hot side piping? That is easily $1500.00 without downpipes or mufflers. How about punching holes in your oilpan? Tuning? Other drivetrain upgrades?
