Default 2000 v6 automatic engine and transmition swap

I currently have a 2000 v6 mustang automatic, in which i want to swap on the engine and transmition for bigger and better. The only problem is I don't know what will fit. I want to 10 change it to manual and 2)For the engine I would like the best I can get with the easiest fit. this is going to be a nonused car at the time i do the swap so that is no hassle. Just looking for any info I can get here, thanks.

well dude. it depends im pretty sure the 4.6 will fit your car with just a few modifications to the engine bay.

now if your thinking about like a 302, 347 block etc etc that will take much more work.

as far as trannys go i couldnt help you in that area.

all in all i suppose it depends on what your going to use the car for. if its just gonna be your weekend street/strip car then a little body fabrication would fix all that.

the easiest swap would be swapping in another v6.. possibly one built with performance in mind.. like a 4.2L ported intakes/heads, cam all that nice stuff lol but that would cost a bit

supposedly a 4.6L would be easier relatively speaking than trying to put a 5.0L in.. an engine swap of either one is not cost effective as you need too many other supporting mods for the new power you would have...

Sell the V6 and buy a GT if you want an 8. Otherwise, find a wrecked GT and swap the entire drivetrain, electronics, wiring harnesses as well as instrument cluster and pretty much everything else except the shell. There are almost no similarities between a V6 and V8 Mustang except the shell.

PS: I take that back, they share the same brakes and most of the suspension is the same as well.
