2000 V6 squeeking when starting

I have a 00 v6, when I start the car in the morning to drive to work it squeeks really loud, but only happens when trying to start it. After its on, no problems. Same deal when I leave work after a 10 hour day. Some think it could be a camshaft synchronizer. Any ideas?

try taking the belt off then turning on the car. if it still squeaks, its probably the camshaft sync. if it doesnt, its probably another pulley
