Default 2002 Mustang stalls, then wont restart.

This is my first post, just wanted to see what you guys thought. I was teaching my brother to drive it (5 speed) and he was doin alright, then i told him to stop on a hill and go again. He stalled it, and then when we went to start it back up, the car was dead, like nothing worked, no radio, no lights, no four-ways, nothing. So I popped the hood and disconnected the battery, then reconnected it and everything seemed to be working again. Then when I went to start the car, all it did was make a loud "click" then everything would go dead again. I repeated this a couple times and got the same result. I think its gotta be the starter or maybe a bad ground. The batterys not dead and both terminals are clean with little corrosion.

What do you think??
