Default 2002 Mustang 3.8L slow to decelerate

Any idea why this car doesn't want to slow down when getting off the gas? I've never driven a car that is this slow to come down after accelerating.

What have you owned in the past? I owned a 99 GMC Jimmy before the stang and it was amazing the difference with how far the car wants to just roll. Mustangs are a nice weight balance of heavy enough to roll a distance, but light enough to still handle well.

I've owned quite a few cars over my lifetime, I actually bought the Mustang for my high-school age son (shame he'll never get it back) and none in recent memory has the urge to roll-on like this one. Perhaps the convertible is a bit heavier than the coupe, not sure. But she does like to roll...

BTW, how do you like the BBK shorties? Great color on the coupe...
