Me and a few of my friends have been looking into upgrading my 95 Mustang. As of right now we were thinking of just doing a engine mods, then eventually putting a turbo on it. I was thinking of putting really good parts in too.

Dont bother doing that to your V6 its a waste of money in my opinion if your going to spend a good amount of money get a crate engine or get a decent used 5.0 motor. You will not get even close to the power of a V8 with that V6 there just not made for that.
if you want cheap mods...the very first cheap mod you can get it a CAI
then some underdrive pullies
third, get a handheld tuner, then you would want to think about getting some gears/tlok or just upgrade to a 8.8 rearend

well I'm only 17, money sorta an issue and whatever money I do put into my car. It will be well worth it.Also, I'm gonna love having a V6 that a lot of people will underestimate. I go to school with a lot of import cars, not many muscle cars.
I was wondering about cams, exhaust, fuel injectors pump, headers and throttle body all with tune too.
Haha i have nothing against V6 motors just dont think of them being worth anything in a Mustang if you wanna get a Mustang a V8 is a must!!!
I agree with him.. beating a V8 with my V6 will be priceless, I've had a few people I know say my cars nothing special because it's only a V6, but after I upgrade it they'll have nothing to say.
I noticed that my speedo cuts in and out every once in a while too.. Like if I start going over 120km/h it cuts it.. then when I slow down and stop it cuts out again. Kinda irritating. But I've gotten used to it and I can tell how fast I'm going from what gear I'm in.

no need for a different fuel pump unless ur going to spray, boost or supercharge ur motor

Im just curious if money is an issue how are you going to turbo your car?? Turbos are more expensive then most superchargers. And just so you know for you to even beat a V8 your going to spend quite a bit money just dosent make sense to me with someone in your situation.
i would just build up the motor 1st. Its the same way where i go to school. Exhaust, intake, and LT's. That's what i am doing. Then my suspension build up. I am a racer on a budget as well. Working at Fry's Electronics only pays so much lol
Only 10 of us actually have an American muscle car. Most are turbo civics, Preludes, Celica's and some Subi's.

When you own a V6 stang 3.8, 3.9, or 4.2 stroker, You're part of something different. You don't rely on a V8 to do your driving. Instead you learn the V6. You tune and tweak until you see GT's falling behind you. Then when they ask "Is that a V8?" You simply respond with a rev that clearly states "I'm a V6" with a proud smile on your face. As your girlfriend sitting on the seat next to you calls you an idiot.

Haha, I won't have to spend as much as you think. Having a mechanic for a brother who knows everything you can know about cars. Him and I have talked a few times about upgrading mine and we're finally deciding to do it as soon as we get time.

My school is fully of Skyline's, MR2's, Turbo'd Eclipses and everything else that can be imported. :P
