I hate the leather interior of my mustang. I was talked into it by my dad. I would much rather have a cloth seat.

I have been looking on Ebay. I see these universal seats that are around 250 to 350 bucks shipped. Bad news or good deal?

I was looking at buying seats from AM but i don't have $1000 bucks to blow on a set of seats... Doesn't really make sense to me.

any info would be great. thanx

I don't see anything wrong with universal seats, just pair them with a Mustang specific bracket so they'll bolt right in.

I would think you could get a nice set of matching stock cloth seats at the junkyard for $100 or less. Racing seats are not gonna be comfortable for any more than short rides.

I'm actually not looking for comfort. i just hate sitting on cold leather and then leather thats on fire.

Drives me insane. My miata has the same seat style as the ones i'm looking at.

Where can i get Mustang brackets from?

It's the brackets and sliders that are expensive or a pain to fabricate, also I've owned those "universal" cloth seats, they last about 1 year and then fall apart...I'd go for some cobra takouts or the real deal like "sparco" or "recaro"...you get what you pay for....

I got a really good deal on a roush seat kit a while back. It came with new seat covering and foam. I love them because they are a combination of a suede material and leather. The middle has the suede so its never hot or cold when you sit on it.
The installation costed more than the kit. They had to modify my headrests to fit the new covering.

Cobra = high insurance. I'm only 21. also gas MPG..i'm getting close to 23MPG in my stang. I'm also a full time student and part time employee. So i bought what i could afford and i still like it.

I agree, personal remarks aren't needed so let's stay on topic here.

Here's what you need, it's a universal bracket that can accept many different seats due to the various holes. The thing is this bracket retains the angle of the seat, and lines right up to the studs/holes for it to make most seats a direct bolt in.

just bought them. Contacted the seller said i would have to pay return shipping if i didn't like them or they didn't fit. But i will get a full refund. I'll post pics up once they are installed.

i got the seats in and the brackets will not work i purchased. I am hoping i can get dimensions from Corbeau seat brackets.
