your new ill give you a break do a search theres many threads on this topic
I just did a search in the V6 section and got nothing on the subject.
To the OP. Clean it up, make sure the anti-freeze is up to spec and put some gas conditioner in the tank. You are best off to start it a few times a month and let it warm right up if possible.
I would also put it on jack stands and give it a nice wash and wax, if you can with weather permiting. some put a car cover on it, to keep the dust off. I have to put mine up for the winter in a week or two.

+1 Make sure that you do start it up and let it run every month... gotta keep it lubricated!!
If you do put it up on jack stands, I might suggest taking off the wheels and storing the tires in a warmer place (basement, inside closet) so the rubber doesn't get hard... but that may only apply to performance tires (with a softer rubber compound) -- any thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about jack stands. If you do then be certain to put a wood block between the frame and the stand to prevent the pressure from building up in the small areas where the stands meet the frame. You are absolutely better off to drive the car once a month weather permitting to prevent anything running dry.
I for one break out my snow tires and drive my car year round. I don't drive it as much in the heavy snow since I do have a 1999 GMC Jimmy 4X4, but that is my wife's so I have to drive my car at times. They do quite well in the snow with snow tires and the use of logical sensible driving methods. My car has no traction control or ABS as well.
if you dont put the car on jackstands, bump the tire pressures up to around 50psi so the tires dont get flat spots from sitting.
this is what dealerships do to new cars that sit on the lot for a long time.
That is something I'm interested in hearing. As I don't have jackstands and last year my stang went dang near a month without moving because we had some serious snow and I had to borrow my moms sebring (Thank god she works from home) and I went out every day and just rocked the thing for fear of flat spotting the tire.
