www.stangmods.com has MAC lt's for the sixer. unless you have access to a lif, are really good with cars, and have correct tools, i suggest getting them proffesionally installed bro.

Naa, grab a hack saw and cutt off your midpipe after the back cats and do it yourself. There's a how to on supersixmotorsports.com . Just read through it a couple of times so you know what to do and make sure you have a friend to help you. A good wrench set will help a lot as well as a 1 1/16 wrench for the egr bung and a spark plug socket for your plugs (it's easier to take em out then working around em, plus you don't want to crack em).

to do a long tube exhaust you will need the accompanying midpipe as well as the rest of the cat-back section of the dual exhaust.. i assume you have all that? if so then all you have to do is install them.. its pretty straight forward.. only thing u may have to worry about is your O2 sensors potentially not reaching to their respective bungs on the new exhaust

Technically you don't HAVE to have dual cat back. He could install the long tubes then have a show connect the headers to his lone muffler. Of course the air flow you gained would probably be voided out by the restriction of a single stock diameter exhaust pipe. But, if he wanted to do the Long Tubes now and the cat back later I don't see why he couldn't.

Either way guys there is fabrication involved which requires pipe expanders or rigged connections which tends to leak. It is best to start completely new if installing LT's......

^Your not joking. I've been chasing down leaks since I got the mid pipe fabed up. I'm replacing the whole thing from the headers back in January. I think I'm gunna go with the MAC catback.

I just ran straight pipes after the collector and did dumps before the axle with a huge h-pipe. But my car is not really a street car for all intents and purposes. It lost the creature comforts a long time ago.....

Simple, cheap, effective.....
