fastest v6

what is the fastest v6 on afm? I was just wondering since me and my girlfriend are starting to fix her v6 up and was wondering how fast anyone here has made there's.

02 Mustang GT - Black - 3.73's short throw shifter

On the way - Cobra R hood Stalker front bumper cover and side skirts.

Thanks for the kind words, but I may not be. Our V-6 is a little handicapped as it is a 95. You could take a newer 6, and do what I did and have a much faster car.

Come on gang, let's hear some numbers to see where everyone is at.

Ron, you ever dyno your stang or take it to the track? I saw a stang on mustangworld.com, put down 333rwhp 3.8, i believe it was a 98 not sure.. Impressive though

Want some numbers?
How about money?
I like the 3.8, and supercharged 3.8's are cool and all, yeah they can get good power, but ****... I can get a '98 Cobra and a blower for what it'd cost to build the 3.8 and put on some boost.
Not that I have money anyway, but if I did...

Well, if I did I'd say screw this and grab a '69 Cougar.

Im sure the 98 with a Supercharger set up has the potential to be faster, but as far as AFM V6s go id say you have the fastest. =P i haven't heard anyone else say they have a Supercharged V6

fastest V6

Alright well I am not going to brag and say mines the fastest but I know i can beat a 2003 mustang gt, stock no problem. I have a 2000 v6 with dual side exaust (system cost me a Grand) i have an intake, and header, and a 100 shot of nitrous, its a dry system. Also have done a little tuning.

Come on guys, lets see some real numbers. And to let you all know, building up my six was still a lot cheaper then even buying a GT. So you can keep the comments that it is better to just buy GT/Cobra to yourself. People here have a six and need ideas on what to do with them.

When I got the car back from Vortech, they said that she was good for only 220hp. Better then what I had before, but still not that great. We have done some more work on the car over the years, but have not had a chance to get it back on a dyno, to busy with our 65. The car has a Borla dual exhaust system, and the latest work was the heads reworked. We finnally blew the heads on our six after all these years of running the blower.

Not bad, you run it at the track yet? Yea the Nitrous will do it for ya nicely. This guy i know has a video of his Cavalier on Nitrous running a stock Z28 and beating it =/

P.S. I am curious greekgod065 You say you can beat GTs, is that with the 100 shot of Nitrous? Because you have another thread asking how to isntall a 75 shot and that is just posted today, so im assuming you are not done with Nitrous isntall meaning you can beat GTs without it?

Without that nitrous a 99+ gt would blow you away, even a 98GT walk on you.

I don't know about that, the 6 is 300lbs lighter, and he should be between 210-215 hp.

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing...Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar?Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just,so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well...But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain,on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion.
