I am sure that there are some people here that have seen the rousch exaust system where it exits right in front of the rear wheel well along the side skirt. Are there any kits for this? Has anyone ever seen this on a car not modified by rousch, but where it was added on?
You can try CDC and Borla... Borla has a real nice kit... pretty sure, it'l bolt up to the V6 after you add an h-pipe... ooo.... Borla I think it looks real nice when the pipes are exposed in the side skirts... But the Cobra R is another story...

Any GT side exhaust will hook up with the PaceSetter h-pipe adapter kit.
Borla, at least the only one I've seen, is a y-pipe.

are you guyz getting these h/x pipes from normal exhuast places or are you ordering them ahead and taking them with you to be put on when you get the exhaust system installed, or are you just doing all the installation yourselves?
we currently have a roush stage2 mustang at our dealership and I really like the way roush has designed the side pipes. they simply are beautiful to look at!!! However for the money I'd take the 2003 cobra any day of the week! Getting the roush side pipes also means getting the side skirts that make them a work of art.
Check out Spintech. There is an article on their side exit system in MM&FF this month. They also have one that comes out just the driver's side that is cheaper. They rock.
I just measured my Spintech and it has about 4.5" ground clearance, but that is without lowering. So with a normal lowering, expect to do some scrapin', I would think. Right now, I don't scrape on even high speed bumps, but when I get it lowered I probably will. Gotta love sparks!
If you lower your car an inch and a half you should not have a problem with ground clearance, but if you go with a 2 inch drop there will be some scraping.
