Default Dual Exhaust On a 98 V6...will i need to mod?

I want to get a flowmaster dual exhaust for my 98 V6. I was thinking about getting this kit=
http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cg...ter/17277.html

The bumper wont have to be cut to make room for the other exhaust pipe will it? Will everything fit smoothly?

First off, www.SummitRacing.com sells it for nearly $100 less.

Second, it's not true dual.

Third, yes it will all fit. Just make sure it has 20" stainless steel tips.

yeah you could find it a lot cheaper, no need for bumper Cuts on 94-98 they just hang below the bumper, and you wont need to mod that kit because it still builds back pressure but if you plan on doing a big mod like a supercharger/turbo you might want to get and H pipe or X, I liek the H pipe, so there would be enough pressure, just doing true dual exhaust wont help you if you dont mod it, sometimes it will take away power, but if you still want the true dual exhaust have them kink all the bends instead of mendral bending so you recieve some back pressure and don't lose much performance.

Now my grumple you mean it keeps a very low toned deep rumbling like an 8, the people around here love the magnaflow mufflers ( hence where most of this ound is being created) I tend to go towards 40 series flowmasters, that people think drone out at about 3000-4000 rpms, then there is borla but thats more hp than noise. But if I twas me I love Flowmasters at low rpms it has a good rumble opr grumble tone, very deep. get some mediafiles from www.3.8mustang.com

the mac system is a nice sounding system at idle and sounds very very sweet at 2000-2900 RPM. I have it on mine and everyone thinks its a GT at idle. DO NOT get an H-pipe or x-pipe until you absolutly need to. I've seen dyno LOSSES of 15RWHP from an H-pipe and x-pipe being installed. For lightly modded cars, stay with the Y pipe. Save your money and the disappointment of losing power and get a cat-back system that hooks up to the y-pipe. www.mustangwarehouse.com has the mac system including chrome tips for about 270.

Here Listen to these
This is a 40 series flowmaster, with an off road x pipe
http://www.3.8mustang.com/Media/bassani2.mpg

and this one says Mac Dual Exhaust so I am guessing this is what a MAC Duel sounds like...
http://www.3.8mustang.com/Media/97V6atnight.mpg

Hopefully those will help your decision
