Default Changed Brake systerm, Now Service Engine Soon...

Today I changed my calipers rotors and pads, and now my Service Engine Soon light is on. I haven't bled the lines yet, but my reservoir is still full. I also pumped the brakes for 5 minutes, and they are still soft.

Do you think that bleeding the lines will cure the Service Engine Soon light difficultioes? Or has anyone else done this and experienced the same problem with a different remedy? Thanks, Jason

BTW It's a 2000 V6 5sp.

no this will not cause your service engine light to come on ... for that light to come on the compter has to detect most likely a engine missfire ... in either case you should take your car to the nearest service center and have them pull the codes in the computer
