Default gt suspension on v6

Would putting a set of Gt springs and shocks on a V6 make any difference? From what I'm reading the spring rates are the same. I picked up a set of Take offs from a buddy and don't want to change the springs if they're the same.

Not really, they are to much alike to notice a difference and there is a small chance of raising your car.

Go ahead and spend for the aftermarket springs and shocks, get it aligned, and then go from there. Maybe a Cobra rear sway bar or a GT rear sway bar.

I have a 2001 V6 auto with 80k. From what I read I may as well get the FMS 'C' springs for $100 and maybe use the GT shocks and struts (they only have 5K on them). I'll put the sprinmgs on ebay ...you never know.

I have the rear end shocks (anti torque) if anyone needs them. Also I have a 99GT H pipe with cats (no O2 sensors) if anyone needs that. Not sure if it will fit a V6.....

But yeah 2001, you to a yard and get a GT or Cobra Rear Sway bar, will def. improve the handleing

Correct! no quad shocks.

Using springs and shocks from the GT will firm your ride and raise your height. Unless you get the stuff from a 5.0L.

Steeda Sport springs, and aftermarket shocks will serve you better.

How about the Bullitt suspension kit? It has 2 shocks, 2 struts, 4 lowering springs and 2 anti-sway bar that were on the Bullitt. Would it work on a v6? Cuz it seems like a cheap way to lower your car and improve handling without spending alot of money and its on proven technology. I read the Bullitt has one of the tightest handling.
