I have mac off road h pipe with dyno max muffer and when i get about 3500rmps when i hit the gas it sound like a bee. I can use some help please...???

no cats... usually dont sound good on v6's but you see. V6 has an even firing engine so no matter what it's not going to have that odd firing and will always sound continuous like that.
when I get to 3500 RPMS plus I dont sound really tough muscle anymore either :\
Try replacing your cams... I heard that changes the sound a bit more deep and odd firing a bit.
yeah, i heard the same about cams. i also remember reading another thread about a muffler that does a really good job at keeping the engine sounding good at all most rpms but i can't remember.

I forgot about that FYI D: Well.... I would start by putting some cats back on it and loose the MAC Mufflers and buy some Flows or Magnas
KS knows other exhaust systems that sound nice but I forgot what he called them D: sorry.
No , dont get me wrong . I love all mustangs . I know Shane personally , so I can blow him **** It's like a brotherly love lol . No seriously , I'm in the process of making this kids car one of the sickest 6 bangers in our area He's a good guy .

yea but if i went with the 4.6, it would not be as fun ask a 3.8 v6, plus jason you know you want to get this car some power. It will be one of the best in city..
but what kind of exhaust would work, with the cat on will it make a little different in sound and how about muffler.

what kind of muffler should i go with and does it matter if i have turn downs.

I had straight pipes with no cats and Borla mufflers and like you said around 300-3500 it was quiet pingy so I put in a H pipe that helped out a little bit but then went to a X pipe and now it sounds like a animal. my car sounds like no other V6 stang I have heard before if I could get a sound clip of it I would post it. :thumbsup
