I no more than get all the bugs worked out of her than some guy in a Toyota Tacoma extended cab pickup runs a red light and I plow into the side of him! I'm heart broken! She was finally running perfectly, got the stereo working beautifully, she was all washed, waxed, vacuumed... And WHAM! My Blue Angel is totaled. Never been in an accident in my 45 years until now. I'll be uploading some photos of the damages momentarily.
I've been in bed for a week now, only going out to physical therapy. Thank God the guy had insurance. Of course given that my car is considered OLD, they probably won't give me near what I have into her. I'm sick about it! I just got her less that 2 months ago and have invested over $500 into her since then. And since I have NO experience in such matters, I'm having to try and find an attorney to help me.
On a happier note, I've found my replacement car. An '85 GT Hatchback with a moon roof. Unfortunately for me, it's a 5 speed rather than an automatic, so it's gonna be a while till I am fit enough to drive it. But it will give me an incentive to work hard at my physical therapy. Planning to have the engine completely overhauled right off the bat so it will be like starting out with a whole new car.
Hope you get better fast. Sorry to see another 4-eye gone too, but you should be very happy with your new one. Your going to have alot a fun with the new one, so work hard and get better so you can get started on her.

if someone deliberately ran through stop light and then forced me to go through therapy, i would definately want to make him pay for it. even more...you not supposed to hit a woman!
that's the problem with this country all these people ripping people heads off for money. Back in like the 70's you smashed into someones car you may pay to fix it, but no one every ******* payed for mental anguish.
Also did you know our country is the only country that is aloud to sue on such loose terms, I mean yeah you can sue someone in other countries saying an itlaian sueing and italian, but you damn good ******* reasons they think more common sense than words. My idea is get out of america while you can because everyone gets a stick in their ass sooner or later with these ******* freeloaders.
Like my friend was ina car accident because his friend was an idiot and tried to do a jump and hit a car when the landed. my friend broke his arm and leg. Now to fix all that it's prolly what 300,000 that should be what you get payed for but no he took 1.5 million from him.... I like my friend and im glad he got a **** load of money but thats 1.2 mil he has to blow on whatever, will that heal his mental anguish?! he will make a full recovery still a lil gimpy but he never was the most active kid in the world, no he's out to buy a 120,000 dollar car now and living it up easy. and that other kid is prolly contiplating suicide and the parents insurance bill is up through the roof and prolly have to sell their house and live homeless, but he, you got you're new car new clothes and everything because someoen did something stupid, people are assholes.
on a side note, heard this on the radio, a car tapped some guy or something but he was fine but the person stopped to see if he was okay but someone in the crowd that saw this said go back down on the ground and pretend you are hurt so you can get more money.. so the guy thought prolly "doesn't sound bad I'll lie and take all the money out of this guy!" layed back down and the sdriver had his car and park but still on but somehow the car came out of park when he was out of his car and rolled over the guy and crushed him to death.

allthough I do feel really really bad for him it wasn't his fault initially he was corrupted by whoever was the dickhead in the crowd who told him to lay down, he should be the one in trouble. who the **** says that, what an ass.

Ahh!! I got thrown off whenevber I see "take every penny" i should read more into detail, my family gets sued a lot mostly by the workers of our lil landscaping company, it's walways loads of **** to make quick cash and run home to costa rica, i hate it.
1. make sure you make copies of all your receipts and give them to your insurance company. they need to reimburse you for all of that. 2. why cant she go after the insurance company for all her money? what the hell does she pay insurance for? thats what the guy that hit her pays insurance for too! it doesn't make the guy in the toyota or her pay for it. all the years everyone has been paying insurance, when the time comes, capitalize on it! 3. my first car was a 6 cyl. too. it was a 1981 mustang with an inline 6 and a 4 speed. it was actually pretty fast. but when i got rearended in that and it was totaled, i went out and got a 5.0 too. it was an 89 notchback 5 speed to be exact. i see no reason for buying a 6 unless you want gas mileage or lower insurance rates. or if you just like the style of the car and could care less about performance. please remember people...these are just my opinions and everyone is entitled to there own!
