hey, I decided that instead of doing ne thing to my car im going to get a saleen body kit.......this is the site were i found the kit the cheapest

I was also thinking that since im getting a new body kit i might as well just have my pops paint my whole car...and since he's doing that i might as well get a cobra hood. lemme know what u guys think.......heres the hood

im pretty sure that hood will fit a stock V6 without needing and adapters for mounting. the reason im doing this is becuase now there are quite a few mustangs in town and none of them have any great body mods....i think if i do this mine will be unique

that's a really nice hood I like the raised cowl induction.

Though the Cobra hood for like 96-98 was like two intake holes on top of the cowl
but i like this one better anyhow looks good.

Saleen is a nice kit, I would throw it on my car, cept I don't have a saleen

ya i like the cobra hood.........i dont think its just a regular cobra hood its like an rs or somthing.......but im pretty sure that it will bold on with stock hood mounts dont you?

Can you throw a saleen body kit on any mustang?

Now, is installing a Saleen kit a hard thing to do? I don't have much car experience and i'm wondering if i'd be in over my head trying to install one myself

if it's made for all mustangs 94-98 thn that hood will bolt up. check to see if it says bolts up to stock hinges, and if you're not sure call em up and ask but most hood just bolt up fine

I've never put a body kit on but i think u could do it urself.......plus most of them come predrilled

If your gonna buy a saleen body kit, buy it from saleen. No other kit will fit as good and no, you won't be able to put it on yourself. In the land of body kits, you get what you pay for, and sometimes not even that. Before you buy from them, check the Better Business Bereau to see if they have any complaints.

Body kits that bolt up with stock bolts , it takes time but easily done youself, you'll figure out yourself that you'll have to remove a lot to put on a bumper, but you can stilld o it, it's not that difficult but just time consuming

That Body kit is FIBERGLASS not urethane as the real thing, i yet have to see one Fiberglass kit that fits without a problem.

I would get urethane for the fact that fiberglass will crack into pieces when hit by a stone lol.

yeah urethan is a better/ stronger kit

dont forget you have to pay to paint it too

I want that Saleen body Kit. Guess I got to get the Saleen first though. But I found that Saleen has an S 7 out there now. Now thats a body kit/car I want. So for a million bucks I'll put my name on that year long list so I can own one.

ok i think im just gonna get one from saleen.com that way if there are ne problems i can take it up with them. ya as for paint as soon as i get the body kit my pops is gonna repaint my whole car so that works out nicely. but ya thanks for all the help.
