throttle body spacer?

First off I think I found a pretty good website for ordering junk like this.

I was wondering if this part ( http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv6helix.htm ) works and if I should get it or just save up for pulles. I'm thinking eventually I'm going to get pullies and a diablo tuner. But I have the money now for the throttle body spacer. I was just wondering if any of you out there have bought something like this and if you would advise me on getting it. I also need to know if you think I can install it myself. I don't know too much about cars n' such. I was able to put my cold air intake on myself though.

It might work, the theory behind that product has been proved in carbed applications, dunno if it will help an EFI setup since the air still has to go through the intake. Any "swirl" effect could be killed because of that.
Its a cheap part, so i guess you can try it out.

I have experience with parts that claim to make the air swirl to make power and they don't work. Flex used to make throttle body spacers that actually made dyno proven power but I'm not sure if he makes them anymore. You may want to PM him.

All of the other products I've seen look like just $5 blades that go in the intake. This seems a bit different. I'll PM flex. It better work if I get it because if it doesn't I'm not going to spend 450 bucks on everything else I want to get from RPMoutlet.

just remember that it would be best to get a chip or tuner after all your mods have been done.

Even with a Diablo Predator? I thought that one could re-adjust..

oh, i don't know about that one, but make sure it can adjust to all the mods that you would do in the future.

If it doesn't you can download a custom program.
