Hi, I recently purchased my first Mustang 2001 V-6 loaded, what I am trying to figure out is how do you find and decipher option codes. I know with GM they have RPO Codes that will tell you every little detail about your vehicle, does Ford do the same, if so what are they called and how do you interpret them. Any help would be appreciated.

sorry never hear of them. maybe it's in the vin or owners manual, or ford could tell ya????

It's all on the vin.

but there were only a few packages. base/deluxe, and premium.

yea you have base, deluxe, and premium if you want certian options like the mach 460 you have to get a deluxe and what not.... thats about all there really is except for ABS, traction control, mach 1000 system up grade, pony package (pos crap), leather interior, etc
