$1,600. Thats the quote given from the ford factory to my insurance for the cost of the parts and labor. Unfortunately, looks like I wont be able to afford the FR500 kit, because it looks like there's only a select few mustangs with that interior. I'm still going to be able to afford a nice two tone leather interior and carpet replaced, plus maybe some 3.73 gears or an intake

you could buy some pretty nice seats on ebay for about $500 and the carpet from ACC (the best aftermarket carpet out there)is only about $110. that'll leave you with above $1000 to play with. i'd go with dual exhaust if i were you, and then gears.

I saw your mustang pics, the rides look pretty sweet. Do you know if dual exhaust will actually make the car feel slower though? That's been my worry about having the car breath too much. I didn't even think to look on ebay though, I'll have to check that out

you can find alot of good things on ebay. just make sure you purchase stuff from a "positive feedback" seller.

Just to update, I'm putting two tone leather seating into my car and having ford factory carpet put in the car. The factory carpet isn't but $240, which isn't bad to guarantee that the colors will match. Ill post some pics of the finished product in a couple of weeks.

It was $995 + tax on the parts, not the labor. Its all leather, no suede. I dont know if v6's can come with a leather combination like that from the factory.

no they can't come with the leather/suede combo. but you did say "custom" so i figured i'd ask. it looks kinda like the 03-04 cobra interior

Hey Narrator,
Looks good :thumbsup What part of VA are you in? I am in Hampton. I too would like to get the two-tone leather combo, but I want the horse in the headrest and the Ford oval on the back (no pockets back there either)

Later.
