Default v-6 tach problem help me

hey guys i just bought a autogaugde monster tach for my 1995 ford mustang v-6 i tryed to put it in and i wouldnt work how do i hook one up my freind told me that i need an adapter for is that true

i have no idea...never done it but you should call the people where you bought it from, they should know.

well i belive the adapter is only needed on 99 up mustangs but i may be wrong, there should be a sender wire that goes on the green wire ( i think ) of your ignition coil.... but you had better check with autometer or www.v6power.net tech archives for sure.

You def need an adapter cause our v-6's dont have a distributor.
