well basically turbos use the high pressure exhaust to drive the turbo fan so yes you do have to tap the exhaust somehow. Im not really an expert so for the little stuff on how to actually do it you would have to ask someone else. sorry

Actually if you get a good Turbo kit (like from HP Performance) Thier kit comes with new headers for you. That way all you have to do is replace them. They can take a bit to install, but are better on the engine. Turbos do cost more, which is why so many Mustang people S/C.

But 90% of the fastest racers run Turbos and not S/C. Anyone remember Racin Jason?

If you want to run more street than drag, I would go with a twin turbo setup.

But hey it's your car.

SC kits are better packaged and more reliable. No coking, less stress on the block, rods, and pistons. And! power is available at all RPMs.

Turbos make a lot more power, but I'd take a SC unit for the street.

the universal debate and also never-ending. s/c vs turbos always comes down to personal preferance and type of person using their car and what they plan on using their car for. i agree with coyote, s/c is nice for street.

Yep, i read that article on MM&FF, it was cool, but i also saw a s/c being installed on horsepower TV, and it looked easier. that is what i would do. If, i had the money.
