Default questions about lowering

i have saved up some more money and as ive been looking at my car i just feel that it sits pretty high. i would like to lower my car to give it a nice looking stance. i was wonder if i get the BBK gripp springs for the 94-04 v6's is that all i will need to get the job done. i havent done much research on this and what all i will need. also can i do this myself even if i have to get some special tools from autozone. if i need more than just the springs what else to i need to get what i want
thanks to everyone who helps

you should also get shocks to match. it's pretty hard on 'em to ride at 1.5 inches lower, and your ride quality will go down.

Most go for fox shocks, since they're already set to the right height.

I think mine rides better with just the springs.Depending on what year a Mustang you are talking about will determine if you need shocks too and if you drop over 1.5 it would be wise to change them too. If your not much on the mechanical side I would have someone do it for you, it can be a little difficult I would go with either Eibach pro's or H&R sports love my H&R's.

Being an older car it would'nt hurt to change the shocks.
