Okay, this is completely wide open... I just want opinions.
I'm for sure getting new gauges and smoked headlights (what are your favorite smoked headlights? judging by the picture of my car in the avatar don't you agree smoked would look the best?) ...
I'm not lowering my car, and I'm not getting gears.
What should my next investments other than the things listed above be? I was thinking CAI, but I really don't know. I want power and looks, but don't want to spend a ton of money, either....
Now, remember I'm a little older than most here. Us 'older' folks never had the plethoria of aftermarket stuff to spend our limited funds on and in that respect, you guys are plenty lucky to be the age you are.
We had an old adage that I'll take some liberty with for this purpose. It reads, "If it don't go, chrome it!"
IMHO, putting plastic non-functional pieces on a car, and this includes smoked covers, is doing the 'chrome' thing.
Unfortunatly 750 bucks wont get you power AND looks but maybe a little of both or just one.
Just power, you can possibly port and polish you heads or intake, that will cost close to thousand. and you def get the power.
Looks? I love that cobra type R kit, that would look mean on any car, yet costly.
But this is going a little extreme.
You can prolly do little things like. CAI, Under drive pullies, roller rockers, for power.
Looks : Definetly need dual exhaust, and a GT rear bumper. Smoked headlights IMO do look awesome.
Im a little overwhelmed here 800 bucks is a nice budget.
But those are a good start for looks and power. it won't be a lot but do it all at once and you'lll see feel and hea a difference.
Yeah, I forgot to mention I already do have dual exhaust....
I'm not really looking to do the expensive things right now, looking more for the "little" things.... I've been contemplating on whether or not to get a spoiler---but I'm honestly starting to like the way it looks without one.....
The GT rear bumper.... link me to that please......
And with these little things engine-related, what should the priorities be? What (if any) will be the most noticeable? And I have seen a lot of brands for most of those, so what are the best to get? With CAI, does it in anyway change the sound of the car? I've heard it gives it more of an engine sound on top of exhaust, which would be nice... :thumbup

Mmm I have a MAC performance CAI chromed. pretty noticed able when you pop the hood. as for engine sound over exhaust... nah. Not from why i know. You basically can hear the intake take in air thats about it. but from the outiside like tap the gas in you hear the intak sip up some air really quick followed by the sound of the exhaust. but you wont hear it durring driving. now ALL CAI work about the same but I just went with a reliable company like MAC and payed the money for it. I just like the security that's just me. but there is also like BBK etc.
i have heard a difference sound when i put on my CAI, but then again i do have an entirely differnt engine then you. to tell you the truth, sometimes it makes a whisling sound and i like to belive like i have a Supercharger...evne thought i dont. just one way to daydream!!!
