Default Ran my car out of gas

Helle all!,
this is my first time here at this site so here it is
My name is Hector, 26yrs old, i live in Houston Tx. i have a 99 v6 manual trans mustang.

i do have a bit of an emergency. i'm currently on my thanksgiving vaccation and my mustang won't start. my Better half ran my car out of gas (she left the day before i did) on the way to our destination. i'm almost positive that my fuel line/pump is now clogged. i know that mustangs have 2 standard pumps but i'm not sure which one. also i could not find any scematics on the v6 mustang to locate exacly where it is to change it. i dont want to pay someone to do something so easy.
if anyone could suggest anything ie: a better than stock pump (for a v6 with no major mods), a website that has a layout of my car or a how to change the pump.
i would be very greatful.
either way i'm glad i found this site & forum.
thanks again
Hector

Your fuel pump should be in the tank . also , since it was ran out of gas , it probably burned the pump up . also , check the fuses .
