they are quiete helpful for an engine. their basic function is to reduce weight and heat for an
increase of HP. Possibly 5-15 I would I guess... Less stress more power

they cost about 250-350 for good ones. You can do it yourself but I'd trust a shop for virgin hands on an engine.

Prolly find em on RPM Outlet. or Morana would def sell them. All over the place.

I havn't done this mod but hae thought about it. just never figured out the right number. 1.8 or 1.73 I forget.

Good luck

BTW if anyone knows... would this void any warrenties?

I did some research because i forgot all about RRs and I might want to do them myself. i was thinking about going with Moranas 1.8, they are 1.73s stock in the v6 but the roller part will allow more in but 1.8 will ultimately increase even more than RR 1.73. So i would say go for 1.8.

As for a Cam lift I guess it would kinda defeat the purpose it basically is the same thing as a cam lift it allows more to come in. so I guess do the roller rockers if you're not doing the cam lift. Depends on what you want this car to be. race car? Proven performer for the light? curiser? Some more kick will atisfy me?

Then we'll see if it's the RR's or the Cams. as for me and I might be selling it soon i think I'll just do some RR's and it's pretty easy to install of you are smehwat mechanically inclined.

1.6 in the 94-97 cars is stock. 1.73 for the 99+.

You want a 1.8RR for 10-20 hp, depending on application, and the ability of the car to breathe.

Im thinking 1.8, and the engine breathes very well, almost too well lol.

How easy are they to install, just pull off valve covers and get to work?
